The NFL player and the Grammy winner are reportedly ‘working on’ getting engaged this summer, a source claims.
The 34-year-old actress Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, 34-year-old football player Travis Kelce, 34, have reportedly made up their minds to become a couple this summer together, according to reports.
An insider told Page Six on January 11 that the singer of the hit song “Anti-Hero” will reportedly be securing an engagement later this year with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
According to the same insider, Travis is planning to skip proposing on Valentine’s Day for fear it might appear as “rushed insanity.”
Due to similar concerns, the athlete chose not to become engaged to Taylor during the holiday season.
It has been discussed between Taylor and Travis and there is a plan in place, a source told the tabloid on Thursday. We’re excited to share that Taylor and her boyfriend are planning to turn the plan into a reality on the occasion of their first anniversary together.
It has been confirmed by an insider that they will get engaged shortly after celebrating their first anniversary in July. A few weeks after the Grammy winner and Travis began dating, the couple was first publicly linked together in September 2023.
Nevertheless, she was able to confirm to TIME that they had begun dating a few months earlier than that date.
In a separate source, Page Six reported last month that Travis reportedly asked Taylor’s father for his blessing to propose to her.
This isn’t the first time that speculation swirls about Taylor and Travis getting engaged. An insider reported on December 16 that Scott had granted Travis’s blessing and that Travis had been talking to friends about a ring.
There was even a spotting of Travis and Scott back in November when Taylor’s Eras Tour was taking place in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She has quickly become one of Hollywood’s most popular couples since the couple began dating nearly five months ago, and they have become one of the most popular couples around.
Even though Taylor clarified that they began dating in July, she wasn’t able to attend the game until September, so it is unclear when they started dating. A couple of years ago, Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce, was also in attendance to see the game alongside the billionaire.
During the holiday season, the “Lover” hitmaker and Travis reportedly spent the time together, even photographing themselves pursed up on New Year’s Eve in front of a festive banner.

As she explained to the outlet on December 6, “It all started with Travis outright putting me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was “heavy as hell,” as she gushed to them.
