2025 Honda Civic Unveils Hybrid Edition with Stylish New Wheels

A hybrid version of the Honda Civic is added to the lineup for 2025.

Previously, Honda had announced that a gas-electric Civic would soon return, but now it-

has shared photos of the new variant which also reveal the new styling of the entire 2025 Civic model line.

The Honda Civic Type R features an aggressive front bumper and grille,

As with the Accord and CR-V hybrids, the Civic Hybrid will have a similar setup.

We would not be surprised if the Civic Hybrid was powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline-

engine instead of a 2.0-liter inline-four. There are already two turbocharged 1.5-

liter inline-four engines available for the Civic. Honda said some trim levels will only be available as non-

hybrids, while others will only be hybrids, similar to the CR-V and Accord.

According to the pictured top Hybrid Sport Touring model, the higher trims will only be-

hybrid. Overall, Honda expects hybrids to represent 40 percent of Civic sales.
