A blockbuster NBA trade happened on Wednesday, just a few weeks before the trade deadline.

The Toronto Raptors are expected to send Bruce Brown and three first-round picks back to the Indiana Pacers for Pascal Siakam

Indiana also sent their second-round pick to Toronto and New Orleans sent Kira Lewis to Toronto.

Raptors will receive Pacers first-round picks in 2024 and 2026.

third and final first-rounder will be in 2024 (it will be the No. 27 pick).

He has averaged 22.2 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game this season, and he may be-

eligible to hit free agency this summer. The Raptors drafted him in the first -

round in 2016 and he became a two-time All-Star in 2019. After winning the Nuggets'-

championship in June, Brown signed with the Pacers for two years and $45 million.

During the season, he averaged 12.1 points, a career-high. Despite missing the playoffs for three-

consecutive seasons, the Pacers are all-in this season. In the current Eastern-

Conference standings, Indiana is 23-17, tied for sixth place. In contrast, Toronto-

began building this season with a major trade. With a growing collection of young players-

and draft picks, the Raptors, a 15-25 team, look ahead to the future.
